CHRISTMAS STORIES in SMYTHS of FEAKLE

The evening will involve some festive finger food, refreshments and a signed copy of the book! Plus, of course some Christmas storytelling.

CRAICLY is making our traditional visit to Smyths of Feakle, on the last Friday of November to celebrate the beginning of the festive season with a gathering and a reading from our new book “ A Seat by the Fire - CRAICLY stories for Ireland”, along with some Irish Christmas memoirs from story sharers.

This gorgeous, family run shop first hosted CRAICLY back on the same Friday ( Black Friday) back in 2026, when we were celebrating the local shops that add such an important presence in villages across Ireland. That night features in our new book, so it’s a great celebration to be back so soon, and be able to read from the book this time! Tickets are strictly limited.
