This Winter gift yourself time away to write, paint, think, relax. Make space for ideas and reenergise.
Our farm cabin accommodation is where CRAICLY STORIES was born, and sits in the centre of a two hundred acre organic farm. Nestled adjacent to the Bog of Allen, banked by the canal network system with walkways and cycle paths.
Our farm is part of multiple biodiversity restoration projects and is a member of the Farming for Nature initiative.
Free from road sounds, traffic, neighbours there is ample space, sky and natural sounds to help you relax during the natural slow down of the Winter Season and reenergise your thoughts and purpose and plans for the year ahead.

Think it.
This farm was certified organic in 2017 and has since become home to multiple species of endangered birds, pollinators and native red squirrels, songbirds and a whole habitat has flourished in that short time. CRAICLY STORIES was born here, and has become a nationwide storytelling movement. Having space, time and privacy to think is something we should all gift ourselves.

Breathe it.
Far from roads and immersed in nature. The cabin is situated within the farm yard, with parking and adjacent viewing window into the cattle shed! There are immediate walking routes to both the internal network on the farm, and to wider routes as part of the canal cycle and walking pathways. Apart from the tractor (!!) there is no traffic, just animal and bird sounds to disturb your thoughts.

Do it.
Whether you’re looking for just a private week for thoughts, a budding creative idea, a novel, a work of art or a musical piece, the space and privacy here allows for that. The natural rhythm of the Irish winter, with early darkness and late starts lends itself to cold air walks, followed by the promise of a crackling log fire for your daily thoughts and reflections.
Our accommodation is simple, rustic and relaxing. It is designed for rural relaxation and time to sleep in, eat well, relax, listen to music and enjoy the arts and the natural Irish surroundings. Included in your week is unlimited turf and logs for the fire, a guided farm and local walkways stroll. You have full access to all the farm walk ways and lots of general local access to wider walking networks.
€750 / week : The sleeping accommodation is a double room with a king-size bed. There is a smaller, simple single room for an additional guest. (Prices are based on maximum two/three guests.) The cabin is a two storey space, with a shower room and utility downstairs, and open plan kitchen, living room along with the bedrooms upstairs. The cabin is adjacent to the farm sheds, and close to the farm house, but not overlooked at all.
We are based a 50 minute drive from Dublin Airport, and are roughly 20 mins from Kildare town, Newbridge, Naas and Clane.
Nearby ammenities include the Currage Race course, and Naas TreeHouse Sauna where you can get sauna and cold plunge facilities.
We can quote for catering if you would like a menu of wine / meals and fridge stocked in advance.
