CRAICLY is coming to Dublin town, and celebrating an evening of Irish Slang stories in one of the most beautiful and historic spaces in the city - The James Joyce room in Bewley’s, Grafton Street.
Prepare for an evening of Irish "isms", literary greats and entertaining true local stories to illustrate the wonderful, colourful, descriptive, witty Hiberno-English language. We will have exclusive use of this historical room and building to share supper together, and hear a variety of people share their knowledge, stories and personal experiences that remind of us the genius and creative way that the Irish describe things in life!
We will hear a little of the literary genius of James Joyces, his own use of wonderful Irish slang, and some true life tales from Dublin characters whose colourful, fun ways of describing engaging incidents int heir lives will put the legendary “Dublin Wit” on display!!!!
