CRAICLY is coming to Dublin town, and celebrating an evening of “Irish Slang Stories in one of the most beautiful and historic spaces in the city - The James Joyce room in Bewley’s, Grafton Street.
CRAICLY is coming to Dublin’s Fair City and after a long table supper, we will hear stories that will bring you on a journey around Dublin city - told by the Dubliners themselves! After the cafe closes, we will have exclusive use of The James Joyce room in Bewley’s, Grafton Street.
Prepare for an evening of celebrations of Irish slang in literature and voice - with an ode to the man of the room - Mr. James Joyce, followed by Dublin memories from tellers who will bring you into their Dublin, through their true life experiences and fluent use of the wonderful Irish wit! Come and hear about the people and places in our city.
After grub, Dublin author Albert Perris will open the stories with a nod to his book “A ramble around Tallaght”, and bring us on a journey through the Bewley’s building, Joyce’s writings and more. After this, a group of Dubliners will regale us with their true life experiences in the city, from the inside of a taxi, to a pub crawl, to an adventure in Parnell Cinema and much much more….
