Join us for a celebratory, upbeat, packed, storyful party in the medieval chambers of the Waterford Heritage Museum!
SUPPER, DRINKS & STORIES of Waterford Food Heritage.
This unique building, hosting the only two interlinked 13th and 15th Century Halls guests we will socialise, meet and enjoy a fork supper led by butcher and chef, Jon Toy.
Museum curator, Cliona Purcell, will share the incredible story of the rooms we will be enjoying together, and the thousands of years of food heritage, success, expansion and creativity that Waterford has always brought to Ireland.
From being the first wine importers, coffee roasters, establishing trade routes with trading with France and Europe and distributing all through our islands. From bread baking, oyster feasting - inventing the rasher!
We are delighted to be hearing from:
Cliona Purcell - Waterford Museum Curator
Jane Gormley - CRAICLY founder & Writer
Joe Brennan - Storyteller, Storytellers of Ireland
Jon Toy - Butcher & Chef
Siobhan Hubbard - Free-Range Pork Farmer, Newbard Farm.
Dave Foskin - Baker, Sunny South Yeast, Waterford
Morgan VanderKamer - Sommelier and Owner, Union WineBar & Kitchen, Waterford
Let CRAICLY bring you through a story journey for an evening of fun,, conversation and creativity in this historic building.
